The Wall - The Book

Vietnam Veterans of America and Boston Publishing Company (publisher of the Pulitzer Prize-nominated book series, The Vietnam Experience), have teamed up to create the special commemorative book, The Wall, that showcases many of the famous photographs previously published in the 26-volume book series, as well as special feature articles and photo essays documenting the history of The Wall, from its controversial inception in 1982 to its evolution as the most visited and venerated memorial in our nation’s Capital.

Other highlights include reflections and essays on the Vietnam War, interviews with Medal of Honor recipients, letters and mementoes from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Collection, a message from Maya Lin, personal stories of extraordinary journeys to The Wall, and more.
